ps3upnp

Play media files on the Sony Playstation 3 XMB (Cross Media Bar) from a Linux server.

This program's primary design goal is to be easy to use.

Usage

Simple type ps3upnp PATH where PATH is the directory where you keep your movies. Example:

ps3upnp ~/movies/

You should get an item called user on host (ps3upnp) in the Video menu in the XMB.

The program currently does not scan subdirectories.

Known bugs

mp4 (MPEG-4 Part 14) files usually show a black screen for 20 seconds before they start. We don't know why.
